Each section of this page has instructions for finding or creating a permalink for a resource from a particular database or vendor. If you do not see an example for the database that you need to use listed here, contact the library for assistance.

Do not copy and paste the URL in your browser's web address bar unless directed to do so in the information presented on this page.

EBSCOhost

For EBSCOhost databases (e.g., Academic Search Complete, America: History & Life, Art Source, Business Source Premier, CINAHL, Communication & Mass Media Complete, ERIC, PsycInfo, and many more):

  1. On an article's page, click on Permalink on the right-side menu.

  2. Copy the Permalink URL. This link will allow UWGB users to access the article from on and off-campus.

JSTOR

  1. When viewing an article, copy the Remote Access URL on the left of the page. This link will allow UWGB users to access the article from on and off-campus.

Project Muse

  1. When viewing an article, copy the URL from your browser's address bar.

  2. Paste the Project Muse URL after the UW-Green Bay Libraries' proxy server URL in this box:

  3. Copy the combined URL. This link will allow UWGB users to access the article from on and off-campus.

ProQuest

For ProQuest databases (e.g., ABI/INFORM, Social Work Abstracts, US Newsstream and more):

  1. When viewing an article, select the Abstract/Details tab

  2. Scroll to the bottom of the page and copy the Document URL. This link will allow UWGB users to access the article from on and off-campus.

SAGE Journals

  1. When viewing an article, locate the DOI URL listed under the article's title, author, and publication date.

    1. If it includes ezproxy.uwgb.edu, you can copy and share the link. It will allow UWGB users to access the article from on and off-campus.

    2. If it does not have ezproxy.uwgb.edu, copy it and paste it after the UW-Green Bay Libraries' proxy server URL in the following box. Then, copy the new combined URL. This link will allow UWGB users to access the article from on and off-campus.

ScienceDirect and Elsevier

  1. When viewing an article, copy the DOI URL listed under the article's title and author.

  2. Paste the DOI URL after the UW-Green Bay Libraries' proxy server URL in the following box. Then, copy the new combined URL. This link will allow UWGB users to access the article from on and off-campus.

Wiley Online Library
