Jessica Van Slooten

Literary Criticism

Search the databases on this list to find literary criticism on your author.  Search by author or by the name of the specific work you are investigating.  It can be helpful to include the term criticism in your search.

Not all articles in these databases will be considered works of literary criticism.  You will need to read the summaries of the articles to be sure it includes analysis, interpretation, comparison, or evaluation of a work/s of literature.  Keep in  mind, literary criticism is NOT a simple summary of the work or a biography of the author.
