Funding Sources

Library resources available to all UW System campuses are funded by:

  1. University of Wisconsin System
  2. University of Wisconsin Libraries
  3. Badgerlink
  4. University of Wisconsin-Madison 

Shared Electronic Collection

The Shared Electronic Collection (SEC) aims to deliver a foundational undergraduate collection of resources to University of Wisconsin System faculty, students, and staff for their academic and professional success.  Building upon the concept of “One System, One Library”, the SEC strives to:

  • Develop/curate a collection of high-quality resources with equitable access for all UW System Libraries and their users

  • Leverage the buying power of the UW System Library Consortium with effective and economical methods to best meet their curricular and scholarly needs;

  • Increase collaboration and streamline decision-making of shared resources by UW System libraries.

Badgerlink

BadgerLink is a service provided by the Department of Public Instruction (DPI) Library Services Team.

All resources are available to any WisconsinBadgerlink Wisconsin's Online Library resident. 

The Badgerlink resources and staff are paid for with Universal Service Funds appropriated through Wisconsin's biennial budget, and federal funding from the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
