Noise Levels

About this guide

This is a guide to the noise levels at the Cofrin Library. These levels can help you find an appropriate study space for your needs.

  • Green areas are collaborative spaces where groups can work together on projects.
  • Yellow spaces are for individuals who don't mind a little background noise and small groups that are working quietly.
  • Red areas are for individuals that need silence to concentrate.

Each floor will have brightly colored signs to help you remember what level of noise is acceptable where you are.

Click on the categories on the left to learn more about each level.
