About this page

This page will share how to contribute to the Institutional Repository and the kinds of information you might need to share with library staff in order to share your work.

What is the Institutional Repository

The Institutional Repository is an online collection where library staff make available examples of projects, research, and scholarship from members of the UWGB Community--including students! Examples from the Phoenix Research Collection (where we store student-created work) might include posters from conferences students attended, papers from final capstones, video presentations from final projects, and so much more.

Phoenix Research Collection

If sharing your work in the Phoenix Research Collection is something you're interested in doing, be prepared to share the following information when you submit your work to the IR:

  • First, middle, last name; preferred name
  • Email
  • Year of birth
  • Title of work
  • Dates covered in research
  • Semester
  • Geographic locations
  • Faculty sponsor
  • Course name and number
  • Description/abstract
  • Release of rights form
  • The file you're submitting!

For the file you share with library staff, this should be in the original format of the item. If you're unsure how to "upload" or share your work, contact Kate Farley (farleyk@uwgb.edu) and she'll get back to you within 48 business hours.
