Green Bay Estuary Community Scan-a-thon

As the Green Bay Estuary Digital Archives Collection, we seek to digitize materials that tell the history and culture of the Green Bay Estuary and its waterways.  These could be stories about recreation, like swimming, sailing, boating, or vacations; sporting activities such as fishing or ice fishing, hunting, and trapping; and occupational activities like lighthouse keeping, ice harvesting, logging, or working at a local paper mill. The Archives is also interested in materials about conservation, pollution, and landscape changes as they relate to the Green Bay estuary. 

To tell these stories, we are looking for items like:

• Photographs
• Home movies
• Scrapbooks
• Diaries or journals
• Letters
• Log books
• Research data or scientific reports
• Conservation plans or efforts

The Green Bay Estuary Community Scan-a-thon will be by invitation only due to staffing. If your items are selected for the Scan-a-thon, the Project Coordinator will send you a follow-up email with more information.
