Pickup Service by Appointment

About this guide

Students, faculty and staff can now check out books and other materials from the Cofrin Library at UW-Green Bay! All you need to do is request the items you want, schedule a pick-up time and then go to the library to get your items.

Please review the following instructions for this new service.

1. Request an item in Search@UW

  1. Use Search@UW with the UWGB Libraries Books, media & more option selected. Ensure that Online resources only is not checked.
  2. Sign in with your UWGB account.
  3. Limit results to only include items at the Green Bay location by selecting UW-Green Bay under Refine My Results > Library.
  4. Select the title of the book or other material you want.
  5. Select UWGB Libraries Request under the Get It heading.

    If the title you are requesting has multiple volumes, select UWGB Libraries Request under the holdings list. You will need to request each volume you want.
  6. Confirm that the pickup location is set to UW Green Bay and select UWGB Libraries Request to submit your request.

2. Schedule a pick-up appointment

  1. After you receive an email notification that your request is available, follow the included link to schedule a pick-up appointment.
  2. Select an available 15-minute window.
  3. Select Submit Times.
  4. Read the Terms & Conditions and select Continue.
  5. Review the booking details and select Submit my Booking.
  6. You will receive an email confirmation with additional instructions.

3. Go to the library

  1. You must must comply with the guidelines in Phoenix Forward: Return to Campus, including wearing a mask or other face covering in the building, maintaining 6 feet between yourself and others, and following instructions on all posted signs.
  2. Bring your UWGB ID card with you and go to the 3rd floor of Cofrin Library during your appointment window.
  3. Library staff will ask you to verify your phone number and UWGB email address.
  4. You can then take your requested items, which will be on a table in a bag with your name.

Additional details

Our staff will be masked and will be required to follow proper hygiene procedures. All returned items will be quarantined after return for 24-72 hours and cleaned following proper CDC procedures before they can be checked out again.

Appointments are available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday. If you are unable to go to the library during these times, please email the Research Desk to make other arrangements.

Please watch your junk email folder in case any of the confirmation emails end up there.

If you do not pick up your items during your appointment, your items will be held and you can schedule a new appointment.
