Library Organization

The UW-Manitowoc library collection is organized by the Library of Congress classification system.  Feature films and current magazines are arranged alphabetically by title.

We look for students who are careful with shelving and who will ask questions if something is confusing.  When an item is misshelved, we can't find it.  If it's in demand, we might assume that it's lost and order a duplicate so that we can meet the needs of our students.  Please attend closely to shelving so that our collection accurately reflects the library catalog!
