Archives Assistants help campus and community patrons with historical research, class projects, and family history. The Archives houses historical documents pertaining to Northeastern Wisconsin and borrows/loans materials throughout a statewide network. Job duties include providing help to both on-site and off-site researchers, retrieving and shelving materials, providing copier and computer assistance, packing/unpacking of materials, working on specialized projects with original records (e.g., indexing, sorting, preservation tasks), some routine clerical work, and outreach activities. Hours are scheduled between 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday-Friday.
