EndNote

EndNote is a citation management tool that is available in two versions: Basic (free) and Desktop (paid). Graduate nursing students were required to purchase and use EndNote Desktop prior to the fall 2020 semester, and documentation is being kept here for students who choose to continue to use it.

Other Citation Management Tools

Zotero is a free, open-source citation management program. With Zotero you can:

  • Capture citations for content that you are viewing on the web (e.g., books, journal articles, websites, etc.)
  • Organize research with collections and tags
  • Sync your data across multiple devices
  • Add citations and bibliographies to your papers using Microsoft Word or Open Office plug-ins

NoodleTools is a citation management program available to UW-Green Bay students. With NoodleTools you can:

  • Create citations in APA, MLA, and Chicago
  • Make and organize note cards for your sources
  • Export bibliographies/works cited pages
  • Format annotated bibliographies
