HIS 102 - Family Ancestry History Paper

About this Guide

This guide will assist you in finding resources for your family ancestry research paper using Search@UW, the UW System's shared online library catalog. You can use your ancestors country/region of origin, the time period when they immigrated to America (i.e. nineteenth century), a specific event, or a specific historical person (i.e. ruler/king) as keywords to find books, articles, and other resources. As you search and find items describing the economic, political, and social conditions of your country/region, you can utilize the links in the left column of this guide. These links will provide tips for searching the catalog and will demonstrate how to request items from all UW System libraries to be picked up at the Marinette Campus library. Start searching for resources using the Search@UW box below or learn more about the search process from the links on the left.
