Universal Borrowing & Interlibrary Loan

Universal Borrowing (UB)
Universal Borrowing allows you to request physical items (items that must be returned) from another UW library. UB is usually faster than ILL and you get the same loan periods as you do for an item from our collection.

Interlibrary Loan (ILL)
Interlibrary Loan allows you to request anything from libraries across the globe. ILL is the perfect way to get electronic copies of articles that UWGB doesn't own, as well as books, movies, music or anything else you're interested in. Articles usually arrive within 1-3 days and physical items are received within 5-7 business days. Physical items take a little longer than requests through UB, but it's still fast!
