Collection Management Assistant

The Collection Management Student Assistant assists with a variety of tasks within the Collection Management department. Routine tasks include receiving and processing library materials (books, serials, etc.), inputting data, working with invoices, compiling monthly reports, working with library statistics, repairing damaged materials, maintaining stacks and serials (including shelving and weeding), basic searching and editing of library records, assisting with management of the Federal Depository, and checking of online materials. The student assistant will also be expected to help with related Collection Management projects as needed. Hours are scheduled 8 a.m. - 4 p.m., Monday-Friday.
